  • Worst grooming experience ever!

    I took my do in at 11:30 am for a full service grooming appointment. After not receiving a phone call by 2:30 I called and the groomer Nancy said that she was next up. Confused, I asked her why isn't she finished after being there 3 hours. Her response was the phone has been ringing off the hook and she then says I'll get her on the table now and she'll be ready in 30 mins. I got there at 3 and she was still not done.   • New Employee - I'm Done

    Culver City, Ca. Newish employee Sonia. I usually keep my business in Culver City but won't be going to this one anymore. This employee has over charged me TWICE now for aquarium animals, which I didn't check on until I got home. She's too busy bending over 6 inches in front of and flirting with my husband to get anything right! The last straw was tonight.   • Fish with fish lice!

    I'm very disappointed and sad, I recently purchased a goldfish from Petco and I happily bought the pretty fish, most of the other ones in the tank looked very unhealthy and had fish rot so I chose the healthiest one. As I got back home to put my fish in the tank, I realized that it had a green circular parasite on its body that was moving. I then went and looked a little closer into the "parasite" and found out that it was fish lice!   • clueless staff and un experienced managers

    the glen cove petco is really going downhill besides some of the workers having attitudes the place is run by a bunch of idiots! i have heard so many complaints about this store and i still see that nothing has been done dogs are getting hurt in the grooming department and those groomers are still employed! you ask for help in the store the young lady just points like shes too busy to walk me over and help me choose the proper merchandise for my animals. shes getting paid to help customers maybe the so called manager so reconsider who she hires because shes doing a terrible job!   • Wrong item shipped by Petco. Still no exchange.

    I ordered 32" dog kennel 10 days ago. Two days ago UPS tried to deliver it by Petco forgot to specify apartment number in my address, so delivery was delayed. Finally the kennel was delivered, but the size was wrong. They shipped wrong item. In my order there was 32" kennel, but they send 36". Online chat with customer service resulted in placing exchange request, the representative wrote it would take up to 24 hours to arrange exchange and let me know via e-mail.     I took my miniature Yorkie to Petco for grooming. She was to get the "works", instead my pocket got worked. I had to take her back because they didn't trim her nails. Now 5 days later I am just noticing that one side of her body has a long patch of hair while the other side is short and looks more even. If I had not threw away the receipt I would take her back. Now I need to find another groomer. Someone who knows what they are doing. Her grooming was more than my hair appointment would be this is BS. Petco is only good for getting accessories and Pet food.
