    Ok so i called and talked to petco manager on telegraph in stl. and he decided to tell me i was wrong the entire time. i got a fish on dec 31 and it got ich appearing within like 2 days after so i got treatment for it on jan 5. no one told me i needed anything other than that stuff to add in water. he goes off and tells me im wrong and i was told that when he wasnt there. then he wanted to refuse helping me.   • refused to price match



    I went to Verona NJ Petco about six weeks ago to purchase litter liners. While there I looked at the price of their Wellness Cat Canned Food. Cost was significantly higher than what I pay as my local Pet Food store and mentioned that to the manager. He said he would call the store I shop at and check the price and he did. I pay $36.99/case vs Petco cost of $44.99/case. Given that I buy 5 cases per months the price difference is significant. The manager told me that I needed to bring in a receipt which I did and told me to save my Petco receipt and they would honor the price match.... More...

    Our shih-tsu contracted clipper burn, as diagnosed today by a veterinarian, due to clipper blades not being cleaned or changed enough. Vet bill for our dogs' sedation, treatment, antibiotics and steroids is $120.     Poughkeepsie ny store needs some revamping of its cashiers and their confusing fight causing system of one very very long line going into 2 cashiers.. are your customers suppose to guess.? i went to the shorter line.. and got yelled at by an old bat saying the one line was splitting into 2 cashiers.. well this old bat yelled at 3 grown women. and proceeded to hold up the one cashier gabbing on her cell phone and going off for forgotten items... what the heck is this. it just tells the REST OF US..     Today I went to Petco in Coralville Iowa to purchase cat food. I have repeatedly requested cases of Royal Canin Adult Instinctive to be ordered. I will be told it will be order and available in 3-4 days. When I return there continues to be a very few cans on the shelf, and no ordered cases. Once again, I'll be promised it will be ordered and available in 3-4 days. This has been going on since February when I began introducing my 3 Persian kittens to adult food.   • ripped off



    I purchased a $100 pet gate at the Orange CIty, FL PetCo. The gate didn't work for me so I took it back the next day and the clerk remembered me. However, I couldn't find my reciept so her manager refused to refund my money and gave me a git card instead. I told her nope, it was on a credit card so it is easily tracked just refund my credit card. She refused with a little smirk and walked away.     On 4/28/11 @ 11:55 AM, I went into the PETCO store @ The Mall of Georgia. I was their to purchase a battery for my dog's PETSAFE collar. I had called the previous day and confirmed that they had the item in stock. I asked the employee, Raynisha, for the item of which was locked in a display case. I was told they a night manager took the keys home with him and that was the only key they had and that the manager would not be in until 4 PM and I would have to come back.     Beware Of The Staff @ Their Store on 86th & Lex, As you can see, they're not very concerned about leaving their customers happy; GRANT, The rude groomer manager, that gave us an awful attitude from the start, and a lame excuse for a lion haircut for our pomeranian, left our dog looking ridiculous, and refused to fix the haircut - even though we had several costumers teaming up with us, trying to explain him how funny it looked!!!     DO NOT GO TO GRANT, The rude groomer manager, that gave us an awful attitude, and a lame excuse for a lion haircut for our pomeranian, left him looking ridiculous, and refused to fix it - even though we had several costumers teaming up with us, trying to explain them how funny it looked!!! Mark, the assistant manager was not helpful at all - just nodding his head and saying there's nothing he can do.     they shaved my keeshond w/o my consent. They should have called me prior to ruining her tail and britches - I not set foot in that store again - they had better make the $64 I paid for rotten service last - Delafield WI 9/19/09 The manager dismissed my complaint saying that I needed to bring the dog in more often for grooming - that once a year was not enough - They had no way of knowing where else I had took her for grooming or even how often we groom her ourselves.
