Fish with fish lice! - Oranda goldfish
I'm very disappointed and sad, I recently purchased a goldfish from Petco and I happily bought the pretty fish, most of the other ones in the tank looked very unhealthy and had fish rot so I chose the healthiest one. As I got back home to put my fish in the tank, I realized that it had a green circular parasite on its body that was moving. I then went and looked a little closer into the "parasite" and found out that it was fish lice! I wasn't going to risk infecting my other fish in the tank so I went and returned it hoping they would accept, and they did. I told them that the fish had been in the bag for awhile and so they put it in the tank to sit, later I came back (15min) and saw the fish was nowhere to be seen. My likely guess was they tossed it yet I don't think they realized that the whole tank was infected..Made me sad and I will never be visiting them again..For everyone trying to decide where to go to buy 'ANY' pet I would recommend petsmart! ;( Very sad to think they tossed the fish:(
